I'm honored to be apart of this huge giveaway for 2 boxes of paperback books. I've featured Crosscurrents last time and this time it's Kitten Kaboodle (Zoe Donovan Mystery Book 20) by Kathi Daley.
I love cozy mysteries. They're the perfect summer book because they're always fun with quirky characters and amateur sleuths working a case.
If you want to check out book one first, here ya go: Halloween Hijinks and the rest of the series here.
Series: Zoe Donovan Mystery #20
Genre: Cozy Mystery
Zak's honorary grandmother Nona decides to come to Ashton Falls for the summer. After arriving she meets and befriends an animal activist set on shutting down a kitten mill just outside of town. When the kitten mill owner is found dead on her barn floor, Nona becomes the prime suspect and Zoe sets out to prove her innocence. Kitten Kaboodle is chalked full of humor, surprises, and life changing events, as we discover who really framed Nona, the reason behind a visit from Zak’s mother, and Ellie’s shocking secret.
Check out what other reviewers are raving about:
This book is a cozy mystery with a well-plotted storyline, relatable characters, plenty of twists and turns, and lots of humor. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a clean mystery that keeps you guessing until the final reveal.
Light cozy mystery reading with relatable characters. The story contains a lot of heart, some humor, romantic angst and in-law troubles. The animals involved add interest. This is a stand alone tale. If you haven't read the previous ones, you will be tempted by snippets of other characters and will want to know their stories, too. The murder mystery keeps one guessing.
Squeee! Kitten Kaboodle launches today! Can you believe that this is Zoe Donovan #20? When I published my first book, Zoe Donovan #1, in September of 2013, I had no idea what a wild ride Zoe and I were destined to take over the next few years. To be honest I really thought that by book 20 readers would begin to tire of the Zak and Zoe story and I would need to look at wrapping things up, but I LOVE this totally awesome couple, and sales for this series are as good as they’ve ever been, so as long as you keep reading them I’ll keep writing them.
I don’t want to give too much away, but this book was a super fun one to write. It features Zak’s honorary grandmother, Harley riding Nona, who is always up for a good time no matter what the situation. I really love writing Nona and am seriously considering having her move to Ashton Falls.
